Twenty-one Bay Area companies disclosed over $1 billion in new funding at midweek, a tally that includes a big haul for San Francisco-based social media company Reddit Inc.

  • EarnUp Inc., San Francisco, $25 million: Bain Capital Ventures led the Series B funding of this provider of financial management software. SignalFire, Blumberg Capital and Flourish Ventures also invested in the round.
