Growing up in an immigrant family, Evelyn witnessed the inequality perpetuated by language barriers and the lack of transparency in the financial system. At Flourish, she brings a deep background in valuations and finance to the operations team. She oversees the financial operations of the firm and its investment funds, including valuations, accounting, budgeting, financial systems, audits, reporting, and financial compliance with GAAP. She played an instrumental role in completing Flourish’s first independent audit.
Previously, Evelyn was Senior Manager of Portfolio Analysis at Omidyar Network (ON). There, she revamped ON’s valuation process, developing more than 150 models and managing portfolio metrics for all investment sectors. Prior to ON, Evelyn worked for several notable companies, including TPG Capital, PwC, and Armanino McKenna LLP, where she built the first valuation team.
A Certified Public Accountant, Evelyn is also accredited in business valuation. She was a volunteer leader with the American Society of Appraisers and spearheaded an initiative for early career professionals.
She lives in her native San Francisco with her husband and three children, who all enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring new adventures. She loves music, painting, and dance.
