Evelyn brings a deep background in valuations and finance to the operations team at Flourish Ventures, where she oversees the financial operations of the firm and its investment funds, including valuations, accounting, budgeting, financial systems, audits, reporting, and financial compliance with GAAP. She played an instrumental role in completing Flourish's first independent audit. Having grown up in an immigrant family, Evelyn saw early how language barriers and a lack of transparency in the financial system perpetuate inequality, and that perspective informs her work.
Previously, Evelyn was Senior Manager of Portfolio Analysis at Omidyar Network, where she revamped the valuation process, developed more than 150 models, and managed portfolio metrics across all investment sectors. Prior to that, she worked for several notable firms, including TPG Capital, PwC, and Armanino McKenna LLP, where she built the first valuation team.
A Certified Public Accountant accredited in business valuation, Evelyn has volunteered as a leader with the American Society of Appraisers, where she spearheaded an initiative for early-career professionals.
