Garret is a Senior Associate with the Finance & Operations team at Flourish, supporting financial planning and analysis, investment management, and accounting for the firm. He leads initiatives to enrich the valuation process and analyze performance metrics across the portfolio, as well as supporting the annual audit.
Before joining Flourish, Garret worked at RSM in the firm’s M&A transaction advisory group, where he performed due diligence on buy-side and sell-side transactions for high-growth, middle market businesses. Prior to RSM, Garret was a manager at Andersen Tax LLC, where he led client engagements with venture capital and private equity funds, high net worth individuals, and multinational corporations.
Garret is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with a bachelor’s in Finance from San Jose State University. He was born and raised in San Francisco and is an avid Bay Area sports fan. In his free time, he loves traveling, trying new restaurants, and playing sports. In the month before joining RSM, he backpacked solo across Europe, traveling from Portugal to Italy.
