Jenny Johnston

Growing up in one of the most economically unequal parts of the US, I learned from an early age that access to opportunity is not fairly distributed. I want to rewrite the unjust systems that hold back potential and support others who believe that everyone deserves a chance to dream.

Jenny is passionate about creating economic empowerment and strong institutions in emerging markets. As an associate at Flourish, she sources, diligences, and executes investment opportunities globally, with a focus on Latin America. She also supports portfolio companies on operational projects and research.

From 2016 to 2019, Jenny was an associate at Omidyar Network. Before that, she was an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Jenny graduated magna cum laude from Middlebury College, where she received a B.A. in economics. She also studied political science and did development work in Ecuador. Jenny speaks English and Spanish and is not afraid to embarrass herself in Portuguese.
